LITTLE BIT

ABOUT ME

WhatsApp Image 2024-02-06 at 08.31.34.jpeg

I am originally from Athens, currently based in Bristol.

My passion lies in telling the stories of the corners of society. Unearthing stories that indicate to wider socio - political issues through strong character led photo and video projects.

Using my passion for social justice, I founded of The MAZI Project, a charity empowering marginalised 16 - 25 year old through food. We work with young asylum seekers, care leavers, youth recovering from homelessness and fleeing domestic violence.

By delivering our aMAZIng recipe kits and cooking workshops, we use the notion of the dinner table and breaking bread, to reduce isolation, build confidence and make those in need feel cared for and extraordinary.

I have experience in both production and editorial roles including working as a researcher for BBC's War on Plastic and a Junior Production Coordinator for global National Geographic series, Gathering Storm.

I am specifically interested in the power of online storytelling and using social media as a tool to raise awareness of global issues, celebrate individuals and communities that are making a difference and connecting audiences to the people at the front line of the climate crisis.

I have had my work featured in VOGUE.co.uk, Bristol Cable, Bristol 24/7 and more.
